Florence Kariuki
Florence Kariuki holds a Bachelor of Art Degree from Moi University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Community Development from Daystar University.
She is also certified as a Regional Agriculture and Rural Finance Professional by the Kenya School of Monetary Studies, a certified Food Systems Leader by the Centre for African Leaders in Agriculture’s (CALA) Advanced Leadership Programme, Certified Expert in Climate Adaptation Finance by Frankfurt School for Finance and Management, Advanced Certified Development Project Manager (CDPM®) Level I. She has 17 years of experience in Banking, Climate finance, Consulting, Project management, and International Development. At EGF, she manages and coordinates Social Impact Investments under the food and agriculture pillar and supports the Group subsidiaries of Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and DRC in the agriculture sector. She works with players in the value chain to capacitate them through entrepreneurship and financial literacy training, connecting them and facilitating financial linkage and access and also coordinates the various partnerships under the pillar.
